This is a very well made kit. Yes it’s thin, and no it’s not numbered. But none of that matters. The thickness of the material makes it affordable and challenging. The numbering part is on you, again, making this kit affordable. It’s not rocket surgery. This is almost definitely a TIG only kit. Not saying it couldn’t be done with a mig welder, but that would be a feat in itself.There is a little smoke and residue from the cutting process. I’d suggest getting a 2in scotch brite roloc pad and hitting the entire thing, finishing with a good acetone wipe before you start the numbering and organization.I love this kit, and can’t wait for more.

It’s gonna look cool when it gets put together!!!! probably not the first time around the metal is thin and holes come easy and the antler’s and ears are abit of mental challenge definitely a kit for someone who already knows how to weld

As As you can see in the photos, there are no numbers on the parts, but each open part has its own numbers that you have to bend or fold them as instructed. And no matter how carefully and delicately you try to fold them, they break and separate.Even in the instruction paper, there is a QR code that you can scan, but it does not open any page and you cannot see a better instruction. However, if you want to create this shape entirely, good luck.

Pieces were easy enough to get tacked up and in position. 20 gauge stainless though…. Be prepared for some blow outs when fully welding, especially if you are inexperienced like me. For most outside corners I found autogenous 4 PPS, 70 amps worked really well if the seams are very snug. Inside corners were better with filler rod, no pulse, maybe 45 amps. Fully welding the individual pieces first then assembling leads to some fit-up issues, but probably easier than getting the full thing tacked up and attempting to run good welds after the fact.Overall super happy with it, fun project!

This is a great kit! Life size! It is not what I would call a beginner kit but it is great practice for welding thin gauge stainless. Everything can be bent by hand or with some pliers. The instructions are a little sparse but all the information is there. Take your time and read through and use some fine tip sharpie markers to number and color your edges and joints according to the print. Bending the parts past 90 often results in the tabs breaking but sometimes breaking a section off helps with fit up and the broken tabs will help you locate it back in place. Clean your parts!! Especially if you’re TIG welding. If you pay attention to fit up you can nearly fuse weld the whole thing. The material is THIN! .036” this is a test of skill and thin gauge welding. I think these are great kits and people love them!
