I purchased this item for my 2019 Ram 3500. I was excited to get it, and after I got it I was disappointed by it. The light is not a fixture on the unit, it is a LED light strip that you have to stick on the unit, and the LED strip is 1/2 inch longer the area the light is supposed to be stuck on. I don’t know how that can be overlooked. The hood cover doesn’t lay down nicely like it should, and it is difficult to stick it on. I am going to see what the manufacturer in going to say about the light strip being 1/2 inch longer. Unless the manufacturer can send me another light strip that won’t be too long, and keep me happy, I would return this item

Honestly, I was a little concerned over so many saying the light strip didn’t fit well, or that the piece itself was warped. Mine all went together very easily, and with little effort. The instructions are pretty clear, just follow them to the letter and you should be fine. Really does look amazing, and well worth the price once wired up.

Went on easily doing it alone. I brought the led strip inside to warm up and flatten out on the dryer and add some weight. I brought the shield inside as well as its 40 degrees here so I wouldn’t have any adhesion issues.After I installed the shield, I tucked my wire behind the heat shield on the hood down to the hing and back along the inside fender up to the headlight plug where I tapped the parking lamp wire with the supplied connector. I used a test light to find which wire, For the 22 ram 2500 it’s the white wire with the orange stripe, the brown stripe has power but it operates the blinker. I hope that saves you ram owners 3 hours of useless install video’s where no one shows the wiring part.The best part: It looks great. It added a little bit of flair to a plane white no frills work truck. It also stops the rock chips. I put this on after my first chip.

Not going to lie I was very skeptic at first when I opened the box and it was plastic but I went through with it and installed it on the truck and it turned out great looks good too, wiring install was simple as I tapped into headlights with the provided inline splice. Make sure you clean and prep the area for the 3m tape to stick properly, the lights amber lights are awesome but even with the prep work I did it still seems to want to fall off so I’ll be glueing it on with some adhesive in the future, other then receiving the wrong item completely the first time [they sent me a full length mirror] the company sent out a replacement before Amazon came to pickup the returned package
