    Super happy with this product, if for no other reason that the looks. It can make the process of opening the hood feel a bit odd, but that’s probably just me since I’ve owned the truck for over 15 years and opened the hood more times than I can count because I’m a huge maintenance fanatic. Developing a muscle memory then having it changed it just part of the process. I had a couple hiccups with the install — it just didn’t want to seat perfectly and I ended up actually cracking it with one of the screws (2000 Ranger). The hood had to be slammed to fully close, then after a couple times wouldn’t release — had to manually release it with a screwdriver through the fender then WD-40 the latch mechanism. Now it’s perfect. It’s possible that’s my fault as well, and probably to be expected on an 18 year old truck, plus the crack doesn’t show, so I’m not taking off a star. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

    Single woman 62, and this was very very easy to install. It replaced one that was broken, and all I used was the adhesion strips. The deflector is molded to stay in place, and looks very nice. Also installed the side window rain deflectors and they are a blessing too, up here in Washington. Very pleased.
