These displays are OK. Easy to install if you can file out a rectangular mounting hole with the right dimensions. I can also speak on the volt / amp dual readouts found on the other displays like these. There are many choices in the same basic display package. They do not mention that in the product descriptions. I have purchased about every configuration they make of these and find them useful in many electronic projects. Also, on the other types; try to get the Hall effect current sensor vs the shunt resistor type which cannot be used in a negative ground set up like in automobiles. The manufacturers / sellers could provide better documentation in the product description.

Two out of four arrived with one of the three connection wires broken off their solder tabs. I repaired them since I have the soldering tools but the company who made them needs to use flexible silicone wires instead of the really cheap stiff ones they use!!!

Glad there are two in the box because I smoked the first one with 53 volts.The red wire is not the input. It is the power pin which cannot exceed 30 volts. the white wire is actually the measurement pin.This means the meter REQUIRES A SEPARATE POWER SUPPLY to operate. Imagine that!. you just want to measure a DC voltage but you must have some other power supply just to power the meter. I managed to power the meter with the power that I am measuring with a voltage divider across the inputs. It will measure in the range of 53 volts which Is the battery voltage that I need to monitor. I am ordering 2 more that I will use on my other battery racks but this time I will add an 7808 voltage regulator to supply the power for this device.
