I bought a 7 way terminal block and bolted that to the trailer tongue – than used this to go from there to the truck. several benefits of using the terminal block – the biggest being if there’s ever an issue – you can find out quickly if it is the plug-in or downstream.i like the double pin connector – doubles the contact points on the truck!Wire is good guage with good coating – impressed!

Yeah the wires are not standard coloring but all you gotta do is read the diagram that tells you which wire controls what!! I just installed this do I don’t know how it will perform but it looks to be pretty good quality!

This is a nice looking piece but red is what the green should be and green is what the yellow should be and blue is what the red should be. I would have returned but I had already cut the old whip off and did not have a choice but to trace the wires out.

Not sure why there are so many people complaining about the colors, just follow the wiring diagram on the listing, ignore the colors. I used this to convert a 4 pin to 7 pin to add reverse lights.
