   Our 2008 Eos was leaking, and I found a VW enthusiast website that discusses the application of this product at legnth–vw vortex dot com “How To Solve Eos Roof Leaks”. This product is pricy, but worth it! Our roof no longer leaks! As described on the vwvortex site, it only took 1/2 bottle to treat all rubber seals. Reference the photos on the website to make sure you get all contact points. There is minimal info on how to use the product in the owners manual.This product should be applied periodically–depending on where you live, how the vehicle is stored and how you wash it. Here in N. California I’ll now use it every 6 months.

   This is IT – what you absolutely need for your VW EOS. Bought one and use it on all the seals of my 2009 VW that has never had the full seal treatment (the dealer treats the sunroof seals when brought to service) and 95% of all the creaks, groans and noises are gone. My VW now drives almost like a new car, with the exception of a small creak at the driver side A pillar when backing out of my sloping driveway.By the way, there are many forms of Krytox. Do NOT buy any other version. This is exactly what you need. Previously I bought another Krytox, the white grease version which does not work well as it is not being absorbed by the seals. Only get this version and accept no substitute!Krytox is a very stable substance and should be able to last a very long time even sitting half used on the shelf. So don’t worry if you use some and keep the rest for a long time, it never expires!Highly recommended!

   Less than half the local dealer price. All seals took less than a quarter of the bottle. This is the only stuff that works correctly on EOS seals. Other products will degrade them. If your top is squeaking and leaking, most likely it just needs to be lubed up with this stuff.

   Possédant Une WW eos , qui a des fuites au niveau des joints .Ayant acheter ce produit sans trop grandes convictions . Je l’ai donc appliquer sur ces dits joints .Suite à un énorme épisode pluvieux sur 3 jours ,je suis aller contrôler l’habitacle de mon véhicule .Quelle surprise au final ,c’était certes encore humide . Mais plus rien avoir avec le passé.Cela à redonné une étanchéité à mes joints .Conclusion si vous êtes dans mon cas ,que Volkswagen vous dit de changer les joints .ne la faites pas ,et prenez ce produit.

   I bought this for my Vauxhall Astra Twintop as the seals were leaking and to get the work done by a convertible expert (cleaning the seals and treating them etc) they were quoting over £1,000.00!Its a tiny bottle, only 30ml, but I used less than a quarter of it all over the roof seals and its miracle stuff, the seals have stopped leaking and the rubber looked better immediately after applying it.Disappointed to see that is gone up by nearly £5.00 since I bought it, which was less than a week ago. Super fast delivery it arrived before the estimated delivery on the Friday and I ordered it on the Tuesday or Wednesday of the same week.I couldn’t rate this highly enough and will continue to treat the seals every 6 months or so, and so I see this bottle lasting for a good couple of years.

   I have used this product before and although it works well on my car roof seals, there seems to be a problem keeping it in the container. My last one leaked in the boot of the car – expensive. The latest had leaked in the packaging on arrival. I don’t know how much I lost, but this is expensive juice to go wandering. I have made sure the bottle top is screwed down tightly.

   It doesn’t look like a lot, but last several years. I apply 2X per year to convertible top rubber gaskets, but can use on any car door or window gaskets to keep them soft and pliable. I just clean the gaskets with a damp micro fiber towel, let it dry, and then run a small bead for several feet then rub it in and let it dry. Then use a new microfiber cloth over it after 10-15 minutes and you’re done. Much cheaper than replacing bad/cracked gaskets!

    Dieses Fläschen mit 30mL Inhalt ist ein sehr spezielles (Gleit-)Pflegemittel für Dichtungen im Dachbereich von Cabrios. (Krytox-haltig) Es existieren sehr gute Anleitungen im Netz, wie man es an einem EOS richtig einsetzt.Eines vorweg: Es ist sehr sehr sparsam in der Anwendung und damit vermutlich jahrelang nutzbar.Es ist bereits meine 2. Flasche, mit der ich die Dichtungen meiner Cabrios pflege.Da es sich um ein Gleitmittel handelt, darf es wirklich nur sehr sparsam aufgetragen werden. Die Dichtungen müssen vorab gereinigt werden, ich empfehle einen Eimer mit 3 Litern warmen Wasser und 3 Tropfen Spülmittel. Damit die Dichtungen mit einem Schwamm reinigen und einem fusselfreien Tuch nachtrocknen. Zur Anwendung dieses Mittels empfehle ich, von einem neuen Küchenschwamm zunächst eine ca. 1cm breite Scheibe mit einer Schere abzutrennen und dann noch die “Kratzseite” abzuschneiden. Darauf kann man dann 3-4 Tropfen auftragen und damit die betreffende Dichtung benetzen. Eventuell noch mit dem Finger etwas nachmassieren, das war es dann schon.Ich benötige pro Fahrzeugpflege eine Schwammschnitte und ca. 16 -20 Tropfen dieses Mittels. Hat sich der Schwamm einmal vollgesaugt, kann man getrost 2-3 ml über jede Dichtung wischen, um einen Effekt zu sehen.Ich hoffe, diese Zeilen helfen euch bei eurer Entscheidung für dieses Mittel!

    Use this for all seals on VW convertible. A little goes a long way and really helps protect seals and lessens squeaks and rattles. Product arrived later than advised but communications around this were great. Second time purchasing this product through this company and has always been great!

    It really goes a long way. I did all the rubber seals on our 2009 VW EOS convertible. It is now quiet and water proof. My brother’s 2023 Ford Bronco had terrible squeaks in the back of his vehicle. We used this VW lubricant and it stopped the squeak. He told the Ford dealership about it and they were amazed. It’s worth the price.

    Yes I bought for my VW convertible as recommended. Here’s the secret I use it on all my cars and trucks. Do you have that annoying whistle or wind noise when you run down the road? How bout water comes in through the car wash? This stuff your vehicle quieter on the road.
