This air filter has a 5 micron filter element that will remove moisture droplets and debris. The bowl is made of aluminum, and has an easy to turn manual drain valve with an outlet port for the remote drainage. A water level gauge on the bowl will help you easily monitor the water and debris level so you know when you need to drain it. A remote drain kit with a 5 FT hose and two fittings is also included. By collecting excess water, your system will be protected to ensure a longer life span.

Remote Drain Kit
Installing a water trap between the compressor and the tank will limit the amount of water that ends up in your air tank. Adding extra water traps between the tank and air valves will collect any excess water that makes it through the tank, as well as any debris it picks up along the way by further protecting your investment.

These are much bigger than I expected. I haven’t used them yet but I expect they will perform just fine. The valve/threads on the bottom of these units leave a bit to be desired but otherwise the rest of the build seems solid. Mounting these will be another challenge as there are no mounting brackets nor do they make any for this model for which I deducted a star.

Great customer service and followed up with me to fix a misunderstanding that I had. If you purchase this trap, make sure you buy (2) – 3/8” npt air fittings to connect your 1/4” or 3/8” air lines to it. Otherwise this is a high quality kit and much larger than the air lift trap that came with my air ride kit.
