Purchased this after my first transfer case started leaking due to pump rub and needed to replace the cover and wanted this to never happen again. This was easy to install after watching videos. Hardest part of the install was the stupid lock ring that required special pliers and still was a pain. PS. The removal and install of the transfer case is more difficult than a novice level.Worked in 2004 Avalanche
