If u want bulbs close to factory these are it perfectly bright and can’t beat the cost I used 3 for the burnt out bulbs in my factory head unit for my 2000 bonneville ssei and it took maybe 30 mins to do and they work perfectly better than paying $20 for 3 for oem and there the same brightness as oem I’m telling you they are more than worth it I even fixed my dad’s monsoon lcd in his 03 Hyundai Sante fe right after I fixed mine 🙂

I used these to relight my radio controls for my steering wheel of my Buick LeSabre. They’re brighter than the originals, and makes the switch warm to the touch, but not to melting point. But I sure like having my illuminated switches back on. Some soldering skill was needed in my case, but worked fine. I just snipped the leads down to a good length before soldering in, about half the original length.

Correct size for my control, the blue color sleeves fit perfectly. I didn’t realize that there was another incondecent bulb for the red “temp increase” arrow…it takes a smaller bulb…I installed one of these bulbs there and used red nail polish to color the bulb and to dim that location. The light intensity of these bulbs are perfect. You just need to be comfortable desoldering these from the board and soldering in the new ones. The pic of the board has these already installed. The other pic shows size comparison of old vs new

My car horn got stuck on when I was trying to hook up an ammeter to find a possible parasitic draw draining my battery. I just couldn’t seem to maintain a steady connection and the voltage jogging seems to have messed up an alarm control module. My alarm and indicator chimes no longer work now. The horn relay was ok, and the horn switch wasn’t a part of the problem. So I installed an aftermarket horn switch and universal relay, making a new circuit for the car’s existing horn. But the new horn button needed to be illuminated so I soldered a homemade little light fixture to it, and soldered fine wire to the leads of one of the little 12 volt bulbs I bought from Amazon’s seller Hotsystems, sealed joints with heat shrink tubing, pulled the little lamp into the tiny light fixture, wired it into the parking light circuit and the bulb worked very well with a little blue rubber sheath over it. The little bulbs arrived to me on time and in good condition. This is the second order for these lamps from this seller that I have made. The first order was for heater control panel indicator lamps and they too are working perfectly.
