We bought a 2014 RAM 1500 two years ago and it only came with one key. We went to the local dealership and asked how much it would be to get a second key made… They wanted $624!! We declined LOL.A few weeks ago that original keyfob started to malfunction – it would lock or unlock if you barely touched the keys at anytime. Time to get another key. We gave this a chance based on the reviews and OMG IT WORKED!! I honestly was not convinced it would, but it was so easy to install and it worked the first time!We have bought a second key for a backup and will reuse this installer to get that one set up. WOW, Thank you for making something that saved us hundreds of dollars! WELL WORTH IT!

This product worked great. My son’s truck keys had begun acting up and would randomly start, lock, and unlock his truck. I had looked on the web to see if it was something that I could buy the keys and set up myself. Everywhere I looked told me things like click this button this many times and stand on your head. I wasn’t about to trust it because there wasn’t a single person on youtube that had done it that way. If you look at the key fobs on here they say that they must be set by a dealer or a locksmith. I found this on a youtube video and started looking for it. My son’s truck was in the list of vehicles that this would work for. I decided to take a chance because it was either this or $250 per key to get them from even the local Ace Hardware. Plus it would take up to a week for the key to come in. My son doesn’t live at home and was coming to visit. I purchased this and two spare keys. They both arrived the day my son got home. It took me about 10 mins to go through the instructions and know how to do it. Then it took about 5 mins per key. This worked great. I didn’t need a locksmith or to go to the dealer. I plan on using this again if I run into any issues like this with any other vehicle that we have.I do recommend giving it a shot it could save you hundreds of dollars.

I was scared to spend the money on this product because I only had one fobless key for my ram 1500. I didn’t want to screw anything up but the instructions are clear and the product works perfectly. Highly recommend this product if your vehicle fits in the products parameters.

It took some trial and error but finally got the key fobs to work. Practice the sequence of what must be done before inserting the device into the port. The box was messed up but everything was in there and looked as if it had not been used yet.I went on Amazon and bought some fobs that looked more like my original then the one that came with this package and they got programmed very easily.

After reading the instructions about three times, the Key Programmer did as promised. It locks, unlocks and cranked the vehicle. The only reason I did not give it five stars was the instruction could have been a little better written for my brain. But, I would buy it again when needed.

The instructions doesn’t mention the part you plug into the OBD port. The keyfob doesn’t work, no light as the instructions say will light up to tell you it’s ready to program. Called the 1-888 number to get someone to say, “I don’t know what to do”. The instructions you have to print them off because they give you a QR code to scan to download them.
