Nothing worse (almost) than a slide motor failing while on a trip. Having a spare can save the trip! Not a simple job to replace. Just watch some videos and take your time. This motor looks just like the factory motor but this has a cap protecting the wiring. Moisture on the wire connections at the motor were the cause of our problems. Hope the cover/cap prevents the moisture. The motor is well packed. Should work fine when it is called to action.

I got this motor as a spare for my motorhome slideout since it is supposed to be equivalent to the originally installed Lippert Schwintek motor. I have not had to use it yet so I am only giving this 4 stars at this time. But is looks to be well built and a will hopefully be a good replacement if I ever need to use it. I will update my review if I end up having to use it in the future.

I had to find a video to install since the slide out was in and wouldn’t go out with the bad motor. which got wet due to a bad wiper rubber. Once I found the correct video which required drilling a 1 1/4 inch hole through the outside right over the retaining motor screw, I was able to change the motor in a matter of minutes.
