Short Air Intake Kit
Short ram air intakes are a method of increasing horsepower by creating the shortest possible distance for air to travel, which creates less air resistance. They eliminate the resonator and filter box, and pull air from the engine bay, which makes the intake air warmer than a cold air intake.
Dry Air Filter
Most new design are now dry filter instead of oil filter. Our filter do not require oil, it is reusable and washable. You can wash it with soap and water, rinse it until it is all dry up and use it again. We recommend you to check every 5,000 miles to see if it needs to be wash / clean.
Performance
Increases when engine absorbs cold air by passing through aluminum pipe to extract the heat to improves throttle response & more horsepower.
High Quality
Air filter will help to draw more clean air into your engine without dust and rocks to prevent any damages to the engine. By provide clean air it can also help increase fuel mileage and response power in your vehicle.
Installation
Heat shield intakes are very easy to install on your vehicle. A typical intake installation can be done with a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet-set within 90 minutes or less. But of course if you are not sure of how to DIY, we do recommend that you take it to a professional to install.

It clearly said that this was a perfect fit for my 1998 Grand Marquis LS! And although it absolutely positively was a perfect fit, it didn’t bode well with my Exhaust System/Air Intake because it kept making my car/engine cut off! I just sold it so I could avoid a complete waste of money!!!

A few weak links but was easy install over all. No instructions, but feel most people can manage it. No check engine lights yet. Weak links are the mounting bracket, and the intake manifold temperature sensor grommet. When engine warmed up, grommet got soft and felt loose in its port. The mounting bracket is very lacking. 1 flat, pre drilled/ slotted and L-shaped aluminum pieces with one vibration dampening post. Drilled an additional hole on the L-bracket and mounted it to the dampening post, onto an existing hole on wheel well. Lined up well enough and sturdy enough to work.Also included a valve cover vent breather filter which deletes a breather hose. Vent is on left / driver side of engine. I purchased mainly for aesthetics, but would be interesting to see if there are any changes in performance. 4 stars cause there were no instructions ir diagrams as well as the poor mounting hardware. This would be a first rate kit with just a few improvements.
