Thanks to other reviews saying it would fit an f-150 I can also say that it fits like a glove. Took a whooping 5 minutes to take off the tailgate cover, remove the old broken one and glue I was using as a temp solution, and install this. I now have 19 of these left for when tailgate rod clips become our national currency, I’ll be set.

Had to replace the tailgate latch on my old Avalanche. The cheap chinese clips that came with it broke immediately. These made it possible to repair the latch and finish the project. Very sturdy and well made, probably better than OEM. I only needed two, so now I have lots of extras.

These don’t break often, but when they do, they are difficult to locate to purchase. Depends on how long you plan to keep you old pickup, but if like me, the answer is forever. Then, you owe it to yourself to purchase a few so you have back!

When I broke the old Rod latch I thought “I’ll never make this door work again” because where would I get this part and what the hell is it called. Well this worked great and saved my door. A little fun installing but that is not the parts fault, it is the nature of the door makeup. Thanks
