The OEM switch assembly on my vacuum accumulator had a leak, and since I could not locate individual parts for it, I had to purchase the entire assembly. While this is not an official Dometic part, it fit perfectly and functions the same.Dometic stresses that the spring should never be adjusted since it is calibrated at the factory. I respect that, but I think that is important for brand-new systems. for those like me with a 30+ year old system, that is not feasible. I had to adjust the spring in order to fine-tune it, but that caused zero problems. This switch even has a metal bottom instead of the rubber one on the original. I like that, because this is where mine was leaking.I would happily recommend this product!
