Even though it is smaller in size it does block more air than factory. The factory windshield didn’t block any air from hitting me in the face. I’m 5’ 10” btw. This new windshield does a great job for me and it’s allot cheaper than buying one from Harley Davidson website. Definitely recommend if you’re having problems with to much wind hitting u directly in ur face
