Description
This Pro-tek no cut frame slider kit is made from acetal plastic for strength and durability.
It comes with all steel bolts and mounting hardware along with complete instructions needed for installation.
The kit contains two acetal pucks with aluminum shims and steel bolts that clear the fairings by an inch.
You do not want a slider to stick out too far or it will cause a bike to flip in a crash by snagging on the ground. You want the puck to either touch down and start to grind off and not catch on anything or if hit hard enough or direct enough to shatter and absorb the initial crash energy. If the slider shatters, grinds off or bends, it did it’s job in absorbing the crash energy. You don’t want it transferring the energy to other parts of the bike causing more costly damage.
Both right and left side pucks measure 89mm (3.5″) in length and take a 6mm x 55mm steel bolt that is countersunk into the puck.
These frame sliders are brand new in original packaging manufactured in the US from Pro-tek, a leading manufacturer in the motorcycle industry now for 25 years.
Applications
2005-2009 Kawasaki ZZR-600
The frame sliders are to be mounted to your upper fairing mount bolts. Refer to your service manual before performing this installation. Simply remove your side fairing mount bolts (6mm) and install sliders with 6mm bolts supplied in the kit. Both sides are the same. Always torque bolts to factory specifications.

Solid buy for the price. They fit my 2007 ZZR600. The bolts they came with were to short so I went and bout two bolts 10mm longer and installed perfectly. Solid fit and look and my fearings are still tight. I could have maybe made it work with the supplied bolts but wanted the extra length.
