The new cars all come with very fragile windshield glass and any stone chips if not repaired promptly will eventually crack. This windshield repair kit is the answer to a quick and easy repair. The negative reviews here were the result of not following the instruction to the tee. It is vital that correct procedure followed for a successful windshield repair. Once done correctly, it blends in so well with the glass that an stone chips are barely visible. On top of that, the repair prevents it from further cracking.

After having a bullseye chip on the windscreen, I found the permetex kit easy to use. Although you can still see the impact mark, it’s nice and smooth with the bullseye almost completely repaired. Pleased with the result.

So I’ve used Permatex before and I love their products and this is no exception. The resin did a great job. My only issue is that this kit did not come with a pushpin to clear out broken glass and a cutting blade to remove the excess dried resin after it cures.

I have used these kits several times to make emergency chip repairs. Its worth carrying one in your vehicle if your insurance company is slow to respond to chips and getting them fixed. It could save you a lot of money for very little effort.

this product fix 80% of the glass, you can still see the chips on glass if you pay attention. It doesnt come with alcohol paper and knife, so you gatta ready by yourself.
