I have a Yale 2005, 5000 Lb Forklift, it wouldn’t start, I wasn’t sure if it was the starter, and took me a while to get it out. It was held by (2) 10 mm x 30 mm long screws, but the head of these screws were 12.9 point and didn’t have the socketI guess you have to be a Yale tech?.I ended up using an 11 mm socket and jammed it with the hammer to get them out.I didn’t use the same screws, I like simple thingsThe forklift works great so far.

I replaced an existing starter that lasted several years and this one lasted about 5 starts before seizing up. It doesn’t make me happy that not only did I waste money on it, I wasted my time installing it just to have to remove it and replace it with a new starter two weeks later. JUNK!
