This is an awesome step hitch. Looks good on my 2019 Toyota 4 Runner. Very sturdy looks sharp on my vehicle and will prevent any bumps or scrapes to my bumper. I like it because it is plenty of room to step up on it to get to the top of your roof. The one con is that it is a little too long for me to put it on the last hole for it to fit close to my bumper because of my spare tire. I fixed that though by cutting about an 1 1/2 off and fits great now. Great buy.

Own a 2017 Subaru Outback. Bought this for a few reasons: 1. Wanted protection for if/when people bump into us at stoplights (etc.) (Any time we have had a hitch receiver, I like to put a hitch in for that reason). 2. Wanted a basic “step” for our dog to climb up into the back of the car. 3. We are hikers and it is nice to have a bit of a lower platform to put on / take off boots (as opposed to sitting on the back/inside of the car). This is very, very sturdy.Warning: DEPENDING on your make/model, this MAY interfere with your automatic back-up system/warnings/camera. Do some research. It does NOT impair our back-up camera. However, it does throw off our back-up sensors. Subaru senses it as an obstruction and starts a loud beep; you can turn off that sensor, but have to do so each time we put it in reverse (no way to permanently shut off). Was a bit annoying at first, but now it is just habit. Love this product.

Item is very solid and made well. But I’ve ordered this twice first never received do to being damaged in shipping. Got refund then reorder second one packaging damaged again but item looked ok. But noticed it was welded crooked and the powder coating was poorly done sent it back and not happy I’m getting charged over $10.00 dollar for something that’s not right. I won’t order again and Amazon and these companies shouldn’t be charging for returns not the customers fault.
