Quick plug and play installation, works great and does the job. However, it was very difficult to remove the button cluster in the center console, I ended up having to use 2 tiny flatheads for the removal process to pry on 2 small tabs.

As other reviews, removing the control buttons was a pain, instructions are horrible, requires two trim removal tools.. there are tabs on the sides that need to be released at the same time. Hopefully seller updates install instructions. Outside of the install, it works as described. It’s nice not having to push that button every time you start your vehicle.

All I can say about this product is it works fantastic it was a little bit difficult getting the unit out, but not that bad but it has worked fantastic every time I start my truck at light pops on and says off very cool if you hate the auto start stop definitely get it

Don’t waste your time trying to remove switch housing from the top with the tool. You may have better luck but I just got aggravated. I unbolted the center console. Four 10 mm bolts two on each side. The are visible. One eight mm drivers side low by gas pedal. I popped the black side covers off of console. Now center console will tilt up allowing you to get your hand in to release clips holding switch housing in place. The clips are on left and right looking down at switch while setting in the seat. Unplug switch and plug in eliminator module. Test to see that it works. Put console back together your done.

Auto stop is a terrible idea, and it will take a lot to make me believe the 2 failed batteries in the course of a couple of years wasn’t, at least in part, caused by it.This is plug in and play. Simple, effective, and pretty easy to install. The hardest part is getting the buttons cluster out. I found using the large end of the tool to pry on the silver frame made it easy to get one side up. However, I had to hold that side up just a bit while I repeated the same process on the other side (again, silver frame), before it would pop out. No amount of trying to pry one side would do it, nor would trying to lift one side by hand. Once it popped out it was unplug, plug the unit in, and plug the original back into it.Nothing else needed, it worked right away.It’s all well and fine to include auto stop, but to force it down our throats… No thanks!

The Start/Stop module works as advertised. The hardware on the center console must be removed and the console tilted fwd to install. Please don’t try to pry off switch!!
