Hey its an oil seal and the transmission fluid seems to be staying in now. If that changes I’ll come back with an update. PS don’t try to install this without a seal puller and a bearing and seal install set.

I like d the quality of this product , our 2007 Chevy HHR felt a big relief after I installed it and that car is happy now , no more leak from CV Axle to Transmission , it fit like a glove and sealed really good , but make sure to use marine grade grease when installing the new part for easy thrust
