Correct OEM part for 1993 F150 5.0L (and likely other years too). Fit perfectly. Works great (as it should…).Solved a persistent issue that I had with the non-OEM PCV valve that I had purchased from an auto parts store. Even though that valve appeared to work OK and flowed well enough at idle, it evidently could not flow enough at cruising speed to prevent oil mist from being forced out of the breather filter and soaking the breather filter and airbox within a couple of thousand miles. After replacing the non-OEM part with this Ford part, that problem is completely gone and the airbox and breather filter are no longer soaked in oil. I have heard that the 5.0L is sensitive to using the correct PCV valve, and now I’m convinced that this is true.If you have a 5.0L Ford truck and it calls for this PCV valve — get it. Highly recommended over non-OEM PVC valves sold at auto parts stores.

Switched out the Auto parts store brand PCV with this. Much less noise. The Auto parts store brand made noise from day one of install. Constant rattling. The Motorcraft is silent.
