Best price available online at time of purchase from seller. The fuel pump on the Ram isn’t the problem just fuel level sending unit. Around $100 beats he $350-400 for the complete fuel pump. I was going to get another quality brand with a lifetime warranty for about the same price as the OEM oump but couldn’t find and reviews on it. so I went this route. Sure it will go out in 40k miles again. If you have a fuel transfer pump you can drain 99% of the fuel after disconecting tank fittings to make tank removal easier. If you have a crew cab and are thinking lifting the bed would be easier, don’t. The cab covers the pump assembly 90%. All videos of using that method are on extended and regular cabs.

Any dealer wanted to change the entire sending unit for $900. Bought this as the sensor failed and my check engine light wouldnt go off. 2 hours to drop the tank replace sensor and put back on. I recommend backing onto jack stands and removing the wheel liner. Run the tank to almost empty. So far so good, we will see if it lasts. Youtube has some really good videos which helped the repair process.

Spent $70 and 4 hours saving $800 over what the dealer wants. Removed the bed but still had to drop the tank bc of larger cab. Over all fairly easy and straight forward replacement.

Fixed my check engine light, and didn’t break my wallet in the process. Sort of a pain to put in, if you have a crew cab you’ll need to drop the tank, but I hear if you have a extended or single cab you can pull the bed. I was in and out in 1.5 hours.

I have the same problem as the guy who said the sending unit didn’t come in Genuine Mopar Packaging. Mine didn’t either, and it did not have a Mopar symbol on the part itself. Worked great for a year or so, now its the same old watch the mileage and fill up after 350 miles.
