This is a handy kit that looks well made, especially for those who do not have a power washer to help clean out their hot water tanks, or those who just need a couple of anode rods. I like having two anode rods, one to replace my worn out one and a spare in case I need it in the future. The Rinsing wand that came with it works pretty well, mostly depending on your water pressure. It definitely put out a much more intense stream of water than a garden hose will and you can direct it around in the tank with a lot more precision. I like to keep my tank clean, especially when winterizing and I am draining everything. Nice that they also include the pipe tape in the kit. My tank is now all cleaned out and ready for a new anode when I prep it for spring camping. I am pleased with this item.

I have broken / worn out / whatever multiple plastic ones from Camping World, this is so much better and works wonders for flushing out the water heater. Very nice addition to the camper tools.

The anode rods are fine, but the rinser threads – as I saw in another review with attached video – don’t go past a half turn and therefore would be unusable. This happened with the first rinser, so I ordered a replacement, and the second rinser had the exact same problem. Unfortunate, since other reviews give it a glowing report. I’m sure it would work great if the two parts went together the way they are intended. The good news is, Amazon support was very helpful in the return process.

The anode rod fit great and it’s nice to have a spare. The fitting on the end of the rod is a hard plastic so it won’t rust like my last one.The tank rinser was a BIG disappointment. The fitting doesn’t seem to match with the threads on the rinser and they would not screw together. I should have listened to the other reviews as others complained of this prolem. If I didn’t use one of the Anodes, I would have returned this.

Bought this after my plastic one broke. I’m confident this one will last longer than my RV.

If you do your own maintenance on your RV, this is a necessary item to clean your water heater. Once you remove the anode. This device works very well to knock the deposits loose inside the water heater and flush it out.
