While the tappet block definitely enhances the chrome appeal and is a beautiful addition to the bike, it did not line up properly with the holes in the engine. It did not go right on the bike and needed the assistance of a rubber mallet and continuous pressure as I put in the front screw. I was afraid the screw would strip since the holes on the Kuryakyn did not line up exactly with the bolt holes on the Thunderstroke 111. The Kuryakyn piece will not flex much, which is good but made it harder to install.This piece is made of metal (not plastic) and appears well constructed and high quality. It would have received 5 stars but the install was not as easy as it should have been.
