I installed this Gun boot mount for a 6.0 Transport model and it works great. Only issue I had is the u-bolts that come with it are a bit cheap and can easly break if you over tighten the nuts. I had this happen with one u-bolt. Not a big issue but I felt better installing some stronger u-bolts from the hardware store to insure the mount wasnt going to move around. It fit easily on my stock honda rear racks and i still had room for my dry box. Good product, made in CHINA however which was disappointing. The gun boot itself is made in the USA.

Easy to bolt on and holds most Kolpin hard boots snugly. The design could add a few more mount holes for more mounting options, but other than that I’m very satisfied with it.

I mounted this in my boat to put my gun boot 6 in and it works like a charm. It is easy and quick to slide the gun boot into and out of and holds it securely out of the way – yet at a handy angle for getting it when you need it. Very adjustable and plenty strong for what it holds.

Easy to get the boot in and out. I had to add a lateral support to it that runs from the top of the mount to the rack as the side to side play in the plate was significant. This simple design change would give it 4 stars, it would also prevent the cracking others have complained about. The pivot and locking bolts are of weak quality as others mentioned and should be the first thing you change out. Fix that also and it would get 5 stars

Works awesome with gunboot iv. Mounted on my Polaris Sportsman 570. Added some carriage bolts to mount with back plate. Drilled holes through plastic rack and fender. Based on other reviews and checking the design – I added one bolt under the bolt where it pivots and had not movement at all with this mod. Just got back from a 3 day trip in rough back roads. Would have given 5 stars if I didn’t have to buy extra bolts.

Great sturdy product. Ensure that when buying the bracket that it fits the right Koplin Boot. I have a old boot from the 80’s that need #20025 and I purchased on mistake the #20032. Not going to return it but rather purchase the boot to fit it as I need two gun cases on the wheeler.

Have been working on this idea for a while. Was exactly what I needed to mount on my bicycle. Plenty of options for mounting. I was expecting to have to modify or make a trip to hardware store. Not necessary. Very impressed with versatility.

I have a rear storage box/seat mounted on my Grizzly and this mounted nicely beside whole still allowing room for the box to open Lots of options on the universal mounting plate to move it forward or back and side to side. The bracket and loop are much heavier duty than expected. The rubber coated loop seems to hold my Gun Boot IV in place. Have to wait for a first trip out to see how much vibration there is but it looks like it should work great.

CFmoto rack not durable. these kits need bigger u-bolts. Going to install once my rack is replaced with aluminum plates instead of plastic.
