This is a great kit that allows your F150 to no only breathe better but perform better. Having just installed this kit it’s too early to tell if it’ll have much effect on gas savings but we’ll see. I suppose anything that helps make the engine more efficient could only prove to contribute towards better power and MPG. The installation was easy and even someone who is not very mechanically inclined could knock this out in 1-2 hours. These make your truck sound great too but beware- don’t go putting your foot in the pedal because of how great it sounds or you’ll soon end up getting less MPG then before you installed it. My kit was missing a bolt that went to the saddle bracket which helps support the tubing but luckily I had one just like it in my parts bin so it wasn’t a deal breaker and doens’t in justify taking this down from a 5 star rating. If you’re on the fence like I was for a long time on these don’t be. Yes they’re a little costly but in the long-run you’ll be glad you got this.

I bought this intake for my 2007 Ford F-150 4.6L. Had no trouble installing it, it uses all existing mounts in he engine bay. The increase in power is very noticeable. It also sounds amazing, not any louder, just a deeper tone. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fairly cheap mod to boost high end torque and horsepower, with no in depth changes to any existing systems.

Bought this for my 2007 4.6 F150. Took about 2 hours to install, and Im a mechanic.There are quite a few tedious things to do, but nothing to be scared of, just read the instructions, which are pretty self explanitory.There was a huge noticable difference in intake noise when on the throttle.Sounds cool, not much else I can say. It kind of annoyed me on long drives however, better invest in an audio system too ;).As for power gains, I couldnt really feel difference in top end power, but the truck did seem to get off its ass quicker.Throttle response has improved.

What can I say that hasn’t been said about K&N, great product. Everything went well from order process to shipping and receiving. I’ve had it for 7 months and no problem it sounds really nice I can’t tell if it added more power but it did add toque it can actually get up and boogie when you want it to 10-10 the only down side is the filter doesn’t protect as good as a oem one but I’ve been through dust and snow and still a clean filter and no clogged maf so I honestly can’t see a down side you can buy a tuner to add true more hp but they do come at a risk and it’s not worth a professional tune

Considerare el producto aceptable hasta tanto pueda comprobar cómo funciona puesto que aún no pude instalarlo debido a que faltaron tornillos y también el MÁS sensor no es el que puedo instalar y tuve que ordenar otro sensor. Pero creo que al final tendré una buena opinión .

I HAVE USED K&N BEFORE SO I AM USE TO THERE PRODUCT. THIS ONE BOTHER ME A LITTLE BIT. I WAS MISSING THE CRANK CASE AIR VENT LINE ADAPTER. 1/4NPT TO 5/8 BRAB. I SENT AN EMAIL TO K&N STATING I WAS MISSING THIS, I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM. I ENDED UP JUST BUYING ONE OFF OF AMAZON FOR $9 IT WAS BRASS BETTER THEN THE PLASTIC ONE ANY WAY. ALSO BEING PICKY I WAS MISSING A WASHER AS WELL. IF I WASNT MISSING THE ADAPTER I WOULD NOT HAVE MENTIONED THE WASHER. JUST A THOUGHT I WOULD ADD CLAMPS TO THE PCV HOSE MINE WAS VERY EASY TO COME OFF. DIDNT FALL OFF BUT WASNT VERY TIGHT EITHER. ALL IN ALL K&N WILL ALWAYS BE MY GO TO INTAKE, BUT THIS ONE BOTHER ME FOR NOT ONLY MISSING PARTS BUT FOR NO REPLY TO THE EMAIL I’D SAY OVER A WEEK.
