Installed on a JD 345 lawn tractor. Super easy to install and was a perfect fit. After installing a new clear gas filter I could physically see it fill up super fast with gas so I could tell the pump is working. Tractor started right up and is running well now. Time will tell so far as long term quality but as for now it is a great replacement at a fraction of John Deere pricing for their OEM part.

The item arrived pretty fast and in good condition. I ordered it for a family member who installed it on his tractor. He said it worked OK but didn’t solve his problem. Something else was preventing his tractor from starting.

Great shipping time first time and replacement time. The only problem is with my application – FD590V – one of the gaskets is incorrect. You will need to make a gasket shaped exactly like the spacer. This gasket goes between the plastic spacer and the engine block. If you use the gasket that comes with the pump you will have an oil leak. Personally I do not find this a problem. This pump is considerably less $$ than the John Deere part so having to make a gasket or even spending $8 for one from JD is still not a problem. Overall I am quite pleased with the purchase. Side note, make sure to inspect the push lever in the pump flange for a loose dampener spring (this was the problem with the first pump I received)
