I am in the process of building cabinets for the first time so everything i’m doing is a first time experience. I am using genuine baltic burch material that i buy in 5×5 sheets from a local lumber yard. Usual there are sheets that arrive with a few dents and gouges that need to be filled to get the the perfect finish i want. I first used a product from Min Wax — wood filler — to do that. I was not happy with the results because i’d have to usually apply 2 to 3 coating of the filler to bring it up to surface. So, i tried this Bondo product and have observed that is takes less time to cure and fewer applications for the imperfections i want to fix.

Before you buy…- Has huge cancer warning on a tube- Is of bright red color, leaving red dust when sanded. You will need multiple layers of paint to cover it if you are using on white or light colored surfaces. I bought it for white kitchen cabinets and now regret it.

I use this for my R2-D2 project to fill in the lines for 3D printed parts. It goes on smooth and dries quickly. Sands nice, just be sure to use a mask and work in a well ventilated area or it might give you a headache.
