I had this torch for a couple of weeks before I finally gave it a try. When I hooked it up no gas would pass even with the valve wide open. I determined after dissasembly that the needle valve needed adjustment which I eventually figured out how to do. Now it works… sort of. It appears to sputter a lot to the point of the flame almost going out, and while it is usable I’m not very happy with it. Considering returning for replacement or looking for a different one.

I’m amending my original review. I found that the products connection was loose, probably the result of whoever assembled it at the factory. After tightening the connections, it works like it’s supposed to- good.

We need to heat larger areas and need to throw a lot of heat at our product. These work well. They are scarce in the stores now so Amazon it is.

This is such a basic tool that a review almost seems unnecessary, however the quality of construction is top notch. The valve works smoothly and is easy to use to adjust the flame. I would buy it again.
