High quality kit. Good instructions. Expensive, but is usually the only option for a plug that has been previously repaired with a smaller insert. If this is a 1st time repair, you would want to use the smaller kit.Its been about 6 months/4000 miles and the repair has held. Saved me from replacing the head. These Triton engines are known for blowing plugs, so I will hold onto this kit for any future repairs until I sell the truck.

This is a true professional kit. Its well made and the laminated instructions are a bonus (do this with all of your instructions). The tools are carefully packed. They are sharp. The kit works as advertised. Its EXPENSIVE but sometimes its the only option. Did a replacement of a cheap insert on a 2005 escape V6. Saved the head without removing it. In the end the cost was easy to justify versus my time to pull the head. Too bad you need to buy the base kit or the upgrade separately to use the standard inserts. The reamer/tap only work with the oversized inserts & you just thread the standard insert into the OS one.

Don’t waste you time with other kits. This is the best fix for Ford plug/thread failures. I spent $600 on another kit only to have 2 inserts fail and blow out. The Timesert kit captures the insert from both sides. It’s a permanent fix. Tooling is first rate and much simpler to use. No hammering of the insert is needed unlike other kits

In all these years this is the first time we have needed to replace a spark plug insert in a Triton 3-valve. Amother facility botched a standard insert & it blew out which required the oversize insert. This worked perfectly and the insertion was easier than the Lisle or Quik-sert. Worth the money if you need one this big.
