Wanted these to help me install the heavy wheels on my MB GLB 250. These have a secure fit and are very strong and straight. Unfortunately the wheel is still so heavy it is even difficult to get on these pins when installing. I can do it but still a job.

There is not much to say about this product, it is simple and should work for the single purpose it was intended. However, these have failed me.The threads are cut poorly, and these would not thread into the hub past 1/2 turn, due to the poorly cut threads. The leading edge (the first thread) is jagged. I triple checked they were the correct size for my vehicle and they seemed to match up well to the bolts. They should easily thread in by hand to the hubs, but would not. To avoid risking damage to the hubs, I ditched these and put the wheels on the “old fashioned way”. Keep in mind, this was on a vehicle with only 7k miles, the threads on the hub and bolts were in perfect condition.

My Audi came with a single plastic wheel alignment pin which I ruined by cross threading. I replaced it with an M14 X 1.50 thread bolt with the head cut off, which worked OK.EWK’s pins are a much better design. Their reduced diameter tip aids greatly in starting the threads into the wheel hub. Having two makes mounting wheels much easier and is practically a must when working on a car with floating disc brakes.
