    1 year update…. the actuator failed. I get a code for it beding stuck closed. Now I gotta do this repair again!I guess it’s an inferior part.Original review:Got a code for the actuator being stuck open. Decided to go with doorman because I recognized the brand name. The actual replacement was super easy… but OMG getting to it and putting back the intake manifold was a pain in the rear! So far I put over 1K miles on the truck and no issues!My recommendations…Take a picture and note everything your remove.Buy the manifold gasket kit. Since your there you might as well change it… you do not want to remove this manifold again!It is also a good time to change the spark plugs when you are doing this repair… the manifold is out and if the spark plugs break…. you have more room to work. 4 broke on me. The hardest part for me was reattaching the rear vaccumm hose….I hope I do t have to do this repair again! 04 F150

    Product performs better than OEM. The mounting kit is very less than inaccurate and made for manifolds without STOCK brass module mounting thread inserts that do not use stock fastener threads. So, do not buy an Intake manifold unless yours is warped by heat. from doorman or TRQ which make a cheap injection molded intake manifold. If your are going to buy either an intake manifold and model from bot companies Thet will not include the correct fasteners to mount the modules as I have come to find out. false advertising on installation but perfect in module functionality.
