I swapped out the old hardware of the Hayward filter with this clamp and seal kit. The new seal went flush with no gaps, and securing the clamp above the seal didn’t seem to require any extra tightening. After a cleaning cycle, there were no leaks at the connection, so it was relatively maintenance-free. The parts felt heavy-duty, and they seemed to be built to specs for my filter model.
