Pump is fast and works great with Milwaukee M18 batteries. It’s a good value as I paid more for one that runs on aa batteries and don’t have valve on the nozzle. That valve makes it very easy to use. The hose isn’t made to be replaced and I’m not sure how durable it will be. It doesn’t have an adapter utility style fuel and that cost it 2 stars as that is the only cans anyone I know still uses. It work well just dropping it in with a little grinding on one of the adapters, though it still leaves a few inches of fuel in the bottom.

This pump is now officially my absolute favorite. It pumps at about 3 gallons/minute in a steady flow (as advertised). This pump comes with a selection of fuel cap adapters that thread onto it’s built-in cap–which allow it to thread with almost any gas can–all the ones we own fit. So it’s the most spill-proof pump we’ve ever owned. It has no problem suctioning the fuel from the bottom of the cans–leaving a small splash left to be poured into the next can before you pump it.Further, this is one of the best-built pumps we’ve owned. Unlike any of the others we’ve owned, this one is made of a more substantial ABS/ballistic nylon-quality material. The Dewalt battery connects securely with no vibration or risk of slipping out and sparking. It sits squarely on top of the pump housing–allowing the weight to be evenly distributed thru the threaded locking collar. The fuel filler handle/nozzle has a smooth action and a crisp shut-off–limiting the drips and preventing excess leakage. And it comes with an attached hook (see photo) to allow it to be hung from the pump housing by a removable ringlet. This item is not only wonderfully functional, it also travels well. The sturdy construction and attachment of the hoses assure it will make a good addition to a roadside emergency kit.We think this is an excellent value and strongly recommend it.

The description states that it comes with a 51″ hose, which isn’t true. Mine came with a 41″ hose. If I had known it only had a 41″ hose I would’ve purchased a different one. I’ve been able to improvise a workaround, but I didn’t want to have to do so. All that said…it works well. My DeWalt batteries fit perfectly, and it has a good flow. The kit comes with 3 adapters, and one was an exact fit for my diesel can. If a 41″ hose will work for your situation, I’d highly recommend this product.

This is a handy cordless fuel transfer pump that is compatible with DeWalt 20V and Milwaukee M18 lithium-ion batteries. (I like that you are not forced to use yet another proprietary battery for this pump.)This is cordless fuel transfer pump comes with three universal adapters (2.0″, 2.5″, 2.75″) that should fit most US fuel cans, jugs, and drums. The three provided adapters fit all the different plastic fuel jugs that I have, but keep in mind that newer fuel jugs will mostly like have filters built in that will have to be removed.I’ve just started using this cordless fuel transfer set-up. I will update this review after a few uses.

This pump worked very well. Fit my dewalt 20v perfectly. I used it for diesel and gas and each worked very well. There is a small button on the side that is pretty easy to use and the dispensing handle is comfortable and opens up that little fuel flap on your car fuel filler so it doesn’t spill everywhere. I haven’t used it long enough to comment on durability but it seems decent.

Pumps well, but dripped/leaked from the nozzle until the unit was shut off.The pump comes with multiple adapters for different fuel cans(I suggest putting the correct adapter on first, then put the pump in and connect it), but the pump did not fit into several of the cans I have. The hose is a set length, not easily extended and is shorter than specified.I decided to return it and try a stick type pump. This pump doesn’t seem like it will last long, but I am only speculating.

Ever tried to change a fuel pump and forgot you just filled your gas tank? Yea, enter me.. pump died just after I filled my tank. So, my neighbor wanted to help and we had the great idea to drop the tank full and thought we would be able to lift it back up. Yup, you know how this ends. We had to empty the tank into a bunch of 5 gal buckets. We did this by using the old school method of suction siphon with a tube. It wasn’t fun.Had I had this pump then, it would have been so much easier to pump that gas out, not to mention it would taste better since I wouldn’t have to use my mouth to start the siphon. This would have been a life saver. But yea, I tried it anyways, and it works great. I mean, the bar is pretty low when comparing it to using your mouth to siphon, but it really does work pretty good. And I can use the batteries I already have for my drills to run it. It acks away pretty small too. Just chunk it in a bucket and put a lid on it for the next time I decide to change my own fuel pump.
