Exact replacement for my 2000 Road Star’s choke cable, at about 25% of the cost for the OEM part. Note to those who need to hear this (and yes, that includes myself lol): the nylon nut that secures this cable does NOT need to be torqued down much more than hand tightening…that’s how I broke the original one to start with!

There is no spring for the detent ball so the cable won’t stay out. You have to hold it out for it to work. Don’t buy this, buy an original, or be prepared to try and find a very small spring to make it work. Or be ok, with just holding it out until your bike warms up.
