I’ve seen a few of these on other trailers, and this one is one of the better ones. It’s well built, strong, and an easily missed plus is that it mounts very near to flush with the back of your bumper. If you have very little clearance between your bumper and the back of your trailer, this is the one you need to buy.

We have used this for our bike rack on the back of our camper. We have travelled to many campgrounds including driving through the Rocky mountains, and it has held up. For the coat, this is a great product!

I have a 4″ square bumper on my camper. I tried to use the holes that were designed for the 4″ bumper but the predrilled plate wound up hitting the camper. I had to use the holes that were meant for the 4.5″ bumper since they were closer to the back of the plate. That left a gap of .5″on the front of the hitch. I put a .5″ spacer on the front side of the hitch. See picture. Nice heavy receiver hitch though. It works great for my bike rack. My camper had the spare tire mounted on the bumper, so I removed that. Not designed for towing.

Mounted this to the rear bumper of my trailer. Very sturdy. Didn’t have any problems with broken hardware. Using it for my 2 bike Thule rack so I don’t have to carry the bikes in the box of the truck anymore. Good purchase. Finish is good, as far as I can tell.
