Buyers Products Cable Truck Step has galvanized wire cable sides and is black powder-coated for maximum corrosion resistance. The cable is welded to 1-1/2 in. pipe sleeve ends for strength and has pre-drilled holes for bolt-on mounting. The steps have a 1-3/8 in. deep perforated anti-slip metal grip step and are available in three different heights. A 2 rung, deeper step version is also available.

I purchased 3 of these to add steps to the back of 3 17′ box trucks. They felt and looked solid when installed. within 3 months 2 of them have had the cable pull through the step. I’m in NC so not a lot of chemicals or salt on the road to speed up the failure rate. just really disappointed in the longevity of the product.
