I have a 3 ton bottle jack that I primarily use for my 2 axle travel trailer. The trailer sits on a remote piece of property and I pull the wheels/tires off and leave it on axle stands to make it more difficult for someone to steal. Occasionally I will take it on vacation which means I have to put the wheels/tires back on. Bottle jacks are great but they are not the most stable device and can slip with disastrous results. These saddles slip nicely over the top of the jack post and make them infinitely more stable and secure.The Good:1. Well made, good welds2. Thick material3. Nicely done black powder coating4. Fits both 3″ and 4″ axle tubes5. Turned sideways the 2″ width fits around my trailer frame rails.6. The 1.6″ inner diameter of the tube fits my bottle jack post perfectly.The Not So Good – Nothing that I can find – Highly recommended

What a great idea this is. I use a bottle jack on my camper and my cargo trailer when needed. The little flat top of the bottle jack has an x-shaped groove and a bit of rough surface in an effort to prevent anything from slipping off. Frankly, that design is dangerous. You have to be careful to use it without slipping off to the side and causing the trailer to fall.With this device, it is easy to secure the top of the jack to an axle or metal edge. It is not going to slip off that way. You still have to be careful, though. The trailer is chocked, so it will not roll, causing the bottle jack to tilt and fail, but if you have taken the proper safety steps, this is the only safe way to use a bottle jack.
