Description
Every Bosch Oxygen Sensor benefits from the technological and manufacturing experience gained from decades of production, since first inventing the Oxygen Sensor in the late 1960’s, ensuring long-lasting, superior performance that you can count on. Bosch Wideband Oxygen sensors are 100% tested for full functionality, resulting in a seared appearance of the protection tube, to ensure every Bosch manufactured sensor meets Bosch’s rigorous standards for quality and performance. Exclusive double laser-welded stainless steel body is totally submersible and sealed tight to protect against contamination from exhaust emissions — ensuring a longer sensor service life. Fast-acting heater optimizes sensor operation, allowing the oxygen sensor to reach its operating temperature quicker – within seconds – for optimum performance. True Direct-fit OE connectors and harnesses, along with threads pre-coated with anti-seize compound right out of the box, make installation simple and hassle-free. It’s critical that oxygen sensors are replaced at the suggested intervals provided by vehicle manufacturers before the sensor fails. Following the recommendations will prevent long term damage to a vehicle’s engine, reduce harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and save money when refueling your vehicle.

Purchased (2) different Bosch oxygen sensors for a 2010 Mercedes Benz ML350 both going bad within a month. The second sensor threw a different code from the first one. I believe a bad batch of oxygen sensors is going around Bosch is usually rock solid parts.I can’t risk the clients car not running right part is $326 at the dealership. I hope the bad ones get weeded out I can’t blame Bosch, it happens.

The precatalylic sensor comes off much easier than the post catalytic. It is very difficult to get the post catalytic sensor off. It is almost welded to the exhaust due to the extreme heat it is exposed to. Having said that, it might come off easier if you try to remove it after running the vehicle. This sensors are doing the job-the engine check light is off.
