The Lock-Out feature allows use with standard hydraulic brakes for backing up with no need for specific free-backing brakes. Breakaway device will set trailer brakes automatically should separation from tow vehicle occur. Cap only.

Cap works fine but the threads are cheap plastic and even though I replaced the master cylinder, the threads are in the frame of the receiver and they just shredded as soon as I tried to screw it in. I just use it as a push on cap now. Kinda sucks.

Kind of expensive for what it is, but if you’re replacing the rest of the brake system or you lose your cap this is your go to. I was the former so I replaced the cap while I was doing the rest and kept the old one just in case something happened to this new one. Fits as expected and does what I needed it to
