Voltage reading is dead on correct. Needs to be wired so charging shows as a negative number and discharging shows as positive number. I had to deep cycle the battery (Take it down to 10v with a 10 amp load) and then as it charged back up, the battery Icon and AH reads starting working correctly. Mine came with a long lead which was perfect to go from the battery, inside the car and across the dash. “Under Voltage” setting, sets the voltage at which the voltage number starts flashing. Great purchase.

The only thing that is not perfect about this unit is the drift on the current measurement. The current has to be zeroed out regularly. I purchased this to chase down a intermittent parasitic current drain in one of my vehicles. Once zeroed I get a small error after sitting a few days as much as 2 amps. It seems to slow the further is goes out. I pull the battery wire and zero it and it slowly creeps up the current reading. The transducer is large enough for a 2 gauge wire and you can see a change with very small current change, for instance, one of the control modules shuts down after a minute or so and it’s 250ma. It’s neat to see how your charges and how much. I often searched the internet to find out how much current a car starter pulls when cranking, every one has a different answer, now I know. 200 down to 150 amps. Quite pleased.

Strumento ottimo, facile da installare. Misura la tensione e l’assorbenza in ingresso ed in uscita dalla batteria. Non richiede nessuna modifica dell’impianto elettrico ne l’installlazione di uno shunt. È sufficiente scollegare il polo positivo della batteria far passare il/i cavi all’interno del toroide, ricollegare il positivo ed il gioco è fatto. Occhio al verso del toroide. La corrente in ingresso dovrebbe essere rilevata come positiva quella in uscita come negativa. La programmazione è semplicissima. Le istruzioni sono solo in inglese ma qui tra i commenti c’è anche chi si è assunto l’onere di tradurle (grazie! ). La misurazione confrontata con un tester è risultata essere precisa. Confrontato con il blasonatissimo e costosissimo shunt Victron non ho riscontrato differenze di rilievo. Questo strumento ha dimostrato quindi di avere un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Sono più che soddisfatto dell’acquisto e lo consiglio.

Item seems to be right for my application, but I have a feeling someone wasn’t paying attention during assembly (see photos). Opened everything up and was prepping for install when I noticed that the back panel of the display had the cutout for the two plugs, but no plugs. Pulled gently on it and it popped off, so that I could see that someone had put the panel on backwards. Popped back in place (correctly this time), and all seems to be well. I think someone was thinking about eating their cheetos for lunch and not paying attention while this was being put together. Several YT videos available for installation assistance, calibration and general function. I would definitely not rely on (wholly lacking) set of instructions included.

Set up was straight forward but as the ah reading drops the battery gauge stays at 100%. It always displays a fully charged battery even when the 200ah display is at 100ah when it should show 50%. Reset everything and still the same problem. Also the memory feature does not work, when turned off it should keep the display readings when turned back on but the display resets. This is my second ah display unit for my Polaris EV so I do know how to set this up. There is a problem with this unit.

Ser ut att mäta ström korrekt, även om spänningen tycks vara lite högre än vad ändra mätare visar.Enkel att installera, men något korta och fjuttiga kablar som jag var tvungen att förlänga.Något svår att ställa in på grund av den bristfälliga manualen. Krävdes lite googlande för att förstå hur man ställer in korrekt ampere och ställer in gränser för varningar.
