pARTS WERE AS STATED AND ARE EXACT DUPLICATES OF THE OOM SWITCHES.These pressure switches are about half the cost of the same parts available locally and do as well. I would recommend the purchase AND INSTALLATION OF THESE SWITCHES ANYTIME YOU NEED WORKHORSE PARKING BRAKE REPAIR.. Chevrolet does not sell the units any more, they just install the workhorse systems. Seems like these systems give poor service and I know from experience they will fail and leave you in the worst of situations. A couple of spares is a better idea.

I don’t expect for this switch to last, Manufacturing of this item is flawed. Bond between metal and plastic is not tight. This is where old switch leaked. we’ll see how it holds up.

First and foremost it replaces the broken part, and the auto parking break works again. This part is not a stock item and I needed it 1000 miles from home. I located one 600 miles and one 1500 miles away, and since time was of the essence I checked Amazon, and it was waiting for me when I got home. What can I say about a near obsolete part? I got it, it works and it is a factory part. If you need it, buy it, and you know where you can find it.

Thought I found the fix to replace the green switch this time forsure! Srewed switch into pump and tried to tighten but it wouldn’t get tight. Ran pump and it blew the switch out,leaving a big mess. Unplugged switch and found that the threads were pushed to the back of the switch. Was able to unscrew what was left of threads from switch. Was able to thread my original green switch switch and tighten like it should. Threads in pump not damage,thank goodness! Don’t know if I’m willing to try again with another replacement switch!
