This was great for my 2nd Southwest flight, but there apparently is a new, new 737-800 that doesn’t have the 2 hole clip. I did try to use the black belt, but it was too large on one side. The older plane was perfect!

I’ve recently started flying more often and became frustrated with how I’d often I was forgotten after asking for an extender belt. Nothing against the flight attendants, they’ve got plenty else to worry about, but it left me feeling anxious as I weighed whether I should wait to see if they brought it or risk annoying them by reminding them before they’d had a chance to get one to me. Now I carry my own extender in my personal bag, go straight to my seat, and click my belt in without any anxious worrying. When the flight’s over, back in my bag it goes. Air travel has become such a chore now and not as wonderful of an experience if used to be back in the day. This is especially true when the seats are designed for little Hobbits on their way to Mordor with no meat on their bones. If you’re a bigger guy weight lifter or you have a bigger appetite than others do yourself a favor and keep these in your carry on bag.
