Después de la instalación el alternador no carga porque no hay voltaje en la terminal correspondiente al cable blanco. Después de revisar la instalación pude comprobar que el diodo esta defectuoso y muestra una alta resistencia. Por una cuarta parte del precio se puede comprar el conector y el diodo y hacerlo uno mismo.

Diode was wired in backwards and many reviews indicate the same problem. By the time you correct their problem you could have made your own for half the money. See the photo of diode. The thick silver band goes toward the alternator.

Very frustrating. The diode is needed to ensure voltage is not backfed to the ignition coil once the ignition switch turned off. Without the diode, the engine will not shut off. But, it has to be installed in the right direction! Had to snip it out and solder it in correctly.

Its a nice cable assembly, but as others have stated the diode was wired in backward. Luckily i had another connector, so i just depinned the connector and swapped the white wire around.
