PERFECT item to build your own custom motorcycle trailer!
Torsional stub axles use specially formulated “rubber” cords to cushion the turning of the inner bar to create the best suspension on the market today. This progressive torque action provides the best shock absorption, load handling and durability features that are available for all types of trailers. The independent action of each wheel reduces shock transfer and trailer sway.
Includes (2) torsional stub axles with 1″ straight spindles, castle nuts and cotter pins. Spindle arms are positioned at 45° downward starting angle with 2-1/2″ of travel. Stub axles do not include flanges for mounting electric or hydraulic brakes. Rated 500 lbs. per stub, 1,000 lbs. per pair.
Also included are two 5-bolt on 4-1/2 inch bolt circle hubs equipped with (2) seals, (4) inner/outer bearings, (2) dust caps, (2) cotter pins and (10) lug nuts. Hubs measure 4-1/4″ tall with a pilot diameter of 2-1/2″, a flange diameter of 5.56″, with 1/2″-20 diameter studs. Hubs come equipped with pressed in races.
Please note: 18.5 X 8.5 OR 20.5 X 8 “DOUGHNUT” TIRES CANNOT BE USED WITH THESE TORSIONAL AXLES. THOSE TIRES WILL NOT CLEAR AXLE ARM.

Bought the 1000lb axles for a small home trailer, axles bent after 2 uses. Is there a warranty or way to get a replacement?

Received it, and the weight was much heavier than advertised, and looking at the Axles and comparing them to other torsion axles I have, they have to be 1000lbs each, not per pair. I couldn’t use it for the intended use since they would be over twice as heavy as the 1000lb leaf spring axle I wanted to replace. Kept them since I’ll use them for something someday (I fabricate a lot of stuff).Other than the wrong description, the items quality looks top notch, the Axle arms look the same as on my 3500lb torsion axles, so super rugged.

These were a great fit for my specific application! I can’t speak for speeds over 60mph, but they ride super smooth. They weren’t a direct replacement for what I had, and that was okay! I would buy these again if the need came up.
