The axle shaft seal must be replaced after removal when servicing the front-end parts such as the u-joints to avoid having issues while engaging 4WD. Bonbo Axle Shaft Seal Installer for seating Powerstroke Axel seal, help you easily & safely install vacuum seals, saving your time, energy and money.
The tool is well designed so that you can either beat or press the seals onto the front shafts to the exact position without damaging the seal, in order for the vacuum powered automatic 4WD hubs to function.

Step 1. Position the axle shaft seal onto the axle shaft;
Step 2. Use the 6697 installer tool and a hammer to seat the seal onto the axle shaft;
Step 3. Insert the axle shaft into the axle shaft housing;
Step 4. Using the 6697 installer tool and a hammer to install the seal into the wheel knuckle.
