Perfect fit. Perfect function.This fan is beefier than the stock fan. It has 7 stronger blades instead of the original 9 blades. Installed just like the original and works great. No noise or vibration.***Caution: The bolt holding the fan on is a LEFT-HAND thread. If you turn it counter-clockwise you will actually be over-tightening the bolt and you can damage the motor. Clockwise to loosen.***

This is the left (driver) side cooling fan that I ordered for my Pontiac G8. ( this should be the same on 08-09 G8 GT and GXP )Despite handling with kid-gloves, the original fan cracked and ultimately disintegrated after replacing the failed motor – almost taking out the radiator. I should have planned to replace both at the same time, but at least it’s a very easy, straightforward repair.Once the air box or intake is removed, the whole assembly comes out with two top clips and a single electrical connection on the right (passenger) side. Be sure to keep an eye on the transmission cooler lines that sit in the bottom of the shroud.Good price, quick ship with Prime.
