Sorry, I did not have special title for this. This is a great replacement kit. Everything fit as well as the original. Once installed it did what it was supposed to do…it gave me gas!

I purchased this item to replace the original 30 year old float in a K series Kohler. I was very disappointed to find after installing it that the new float had filled with fuel overnight and flooding the engine out. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful getting me a replacement part. After installing the replacement part within two days the replacement float did the same thing, I disassembled the carb to find it also full of fuel. I am a professional mechanic and should have known better to install this item when I seen it was made overseas and NOT a Kohler part, they list the Kohler part number but this isn’t a Kohler part. If you are interested on this item save yourself some time and stress and purchase a authorized Kohler part.

It seems well built, but wasn’t an exact fit. I had to use my Dremel and sand the pivot pin ears to get it to fit. It’s held up fine so far.

The part is what I wanted, the damage I did not. A bubble wrap envelope will not protect the part in shipment. The envelope banging around in the back of a Amazon truck has zero protection.

Was dented and and the hinge was broken off the float rendering it useless. Very cheaply made compared to the original.

I’ve rebuild a few vintage kohler k series carburetors. The stens brass float works as it should
