This is the second “new” alternator (actually 3rd) purchased for our izusu/gmc trucks. The first one ran beautifully for 2 months and quit charging, the second 2 weeks. I purchased this product from amazon to save money – the equivalent alternator at 2 of the chain auto parts stores were 300+ and 400+ dollars. I am selling the truck so I just want a working alternator. The fit and finish were perfect, however the lasting quality is not there. Many of you probably drive vehicles with the alternator 10, 15, 20+ years old. 2 months??? and 2 weeks??? This is a MAJOR problem.
